Vliv výživy na metabolické poruchy u vysokoužitkových dojnic
Neradová, Izabela Helena
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the issue of the most common metabolic diseases that occur in high yield dairy cows in connection with the incorrect composition of feed rations. Is focuses on ketosis, acidosis and alkalosis of the gastric content, milk fever, but also other, less important disorders that are also closely related to a quality diet. It describes their etiology, pathogenesis, symptoms and possibilities of diagnosis and therapy. Part of the work are preventive measures that must be followed to re-duce the incidence of diseases in herds. Furthermore, this work deals with the division of basic feeds into bulk and grain. It contains their characteristics pointing out the main risks associated with the occurrence of metabolic disorders. The following part focuses on the different principles of nutrition in the transition period. It also de-scribes the possibilities of feeding techniques. In the final part of the work the author presents her conclusions and recommendations.
Nové trendy ve fázové výživě dojnic
REJZKOVÁ, Martina
When feeding dairy cows, quality forage must be the main ingredient. Prolonged feeding of poor-quality feed can lead to metabolic disorders, weak calves, reduced reproductive capacity, mastitis and other problems. Phase feeding is widely used in dairy cattle nutrition because it is probably the best way to meet the nutrient needs of dairy cows at different stages of lactation, even when standing dry. The basis for respecting the physiological needs of dairy cows is the creation of balanced groups of dairy cows. Nutrition is very important, especially in the transition period of dairy cows. That is to say, the 3 weeks before and 3 weeks after parturition, when dairy cows need the best quality feed and, above all, the greatest nutritional care. These six weeks are crucial for maintaining good health, the production and reproductive efficiency of the dairy cow and the profitability of the entire herd. Modern knowledge guarantees higher milk production and better satisfaction of nutrient requirements. In 2021, after almost 20 years, a new standard, NASEM 2021, was published which gives the expected nutrient recommendation for dairy cattle. Other modern findings include the increasing use of robotic milking parlours with automatic feeding, or the use of vitalimeters or pH probes to monitor digestive pro-cesses and overall animal activity.
Výživa dojnic v tranzitním období
HAVLÍČEK, David
The bachelor thesis Nutrition of dairy cows in the transition period deals with the nutrition of dairy cows in the peripartum period with emphasis on the prevention of metabolic disorders. The basic feeds used for the nutrition of dairy cows are described from a single-souled perspective. Characteristics of essential nutrients. Phasic nutrition and metabolic disorders caused by poor nutrition. The actual work was based on information obtained from five farms. Information was obtained on feed ration, housing method, feeding technique and incidence of metabolic disorders. From the information obtained, it can be said that most of the selected farms choose the right methods and practices in feeding dairy cows in transit. However, deficiencies were found in two holdings based on a lack of knowledge of the nutrient composition of the feed and in one case an unbalanced ration. There are no serious problems related to metabolic disorders in any of the selected holdings.
Výživa dojnic v průběhu tranzitního období
SVAČINOVÁ, Nela
In this bachelor thesis the basic factors are described related to calving, correct nutrition and lactation of the dairy cow. The individual parts of the digestive tract and the course of digestive physiology are mentioned in the introduction. Subsequently, a section is devoted to transition period and risks that surround it. A substantial part of the work is also summary of basic nutrients found in feeds and basic components included in cattle rations.
Zdravotní a produkční účinek imunomodulačního preparátu Imrestoru u vysokoužitkových dojnic
NEZNÍKOVÁ, Kateřina
This thesis deals with evaluation of the impact of immunomodulatory preparation Imrestor (Elanco Animal Health) on the health and production of high-producing dairy cows in the transition period. The experiment was done in the agricultural company Košetice in the district of Pelhřimov on dairy cows of the Holstein breed. The animals selected for the experiment were divided into two groups - control and experimental. Imrestor was applied subcutaneously to the dairy cows of the experimental group approximately one week before calving and on the day of calving. The active component of this preparation is a commercial form of a naturally occurring cytokine (bG - CSF), which specifically affects on the neutrophil precursor cells and increases their production. Blood samples were taken from all cows included in the experiment to evaluate the effect of the preparation Imrestor. At the same time was monitored their clinical health and the incidence of the most common diseases in the transition period. 81 blood samples were taken from 31 dairy cows from the control group and from 18 dairy cows from the experimental group. A biochemical and hematological examination was performed in the laboratory, where the parameters of red blood cells, trombocyte count, leukocyte count, leukocyte percentage, biochemical indicators of blood plasma and mineral content were determined. By statistical evaluation was found, that Imrestor statistically highly significantly (p <0.01) affected leukocyte counts and the percentage of neutrophil granulocytes and lymphocytes. Statistically significant differences (p <0.05) between the observed groups of dairy cows were found in the trombocyte count, percentage of monocytes and alkaline phosphatase activity.
Musical Activities In The International Pre-Schools in Prague
Gajdová, Magdalena ; Kmentová, Milena (advisor) ; Jiřičková, Jiřina (referee)
This work analyses music activities of English-speaking children of pre-school age, attending international schools in Prague, following the British Curricula. The goal of this work is to develop and to validate teaching materials of musical activities, supporting children with different native languages from the language of the teaching material, those in transition period, and those with communication barriers, and to offer concrete implementation strategies for teachers of music in both Czech and international schools. The theoretical part compares Czech and British music curricula for pre-school children. It defines terms such as transition period and describes its course in Czech and international environments. Furthermore, it addresses the role of music during this stage of development and explains the concepts of project-based learning and music integration project. As theoretical underpinning for the practical portion, the work offers detailed discussion of musical factors, syllabic structure both in English and Czech language, and the variations in interpretation of musical fairy tales. The practical part describes the goals, methods, and procedures of the action research focused on the implementation of the musical fairy tale in Czech and English, as well as reflection and evaluation of...

Transition period in the life of people with intellectual disabilities: Transition planning of the transition from school to work
KASTLOVÁ, Ivana
This thesis deals with the period of transition from school to work for people with intellectual disabilities living a children's home. First of all, I devote my attention to the people with intellectual disabilities: how they get prepared for their transition from school to work; how they manage this important period and who else is involved. In the theoretical part, I deal with the definition of the terms Intellectual Disability, Transition Programme, Transition Planning and Transition Period. The final part describes the condition of subjects with intellectual disabilities before, during, and after the transition from school to work. An overview of the planned transition of people with intellectual disabilities from school to work will be a contribution to this thesis. I also intend to try to propose other forms of support that would help people with intellectual disabilities cope more easily with this difficult period at the time of their transition.
Transition period in the life of persons with intellectual disability: Transitional planning of transition from primary education to secondary education
SACHR, Jakub
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the attitudes of individual actors in transition planning of transition period of pupils with intellectual disabilities from primary to secondary education. The research focuses on the attitude of potential actors in transition planning, how they percept their role, who enters the transition period and whether or not the transition programs or their analogies are implemented in the Czech educational system. The bachelor thesis tries to find the answers to the questions by the means of biographical research based on in-depth interviews with potential transition planning actors and the analysis of official documents. The first part describes the specifics of adolescence of people with intellectual disabilities and the problematics of the disability. It describes the concept of transition programs and its history in the world and in our country, it further explains the relationship between the inclusive concept and the transition planning and it tries to find transition planning fragments in Czech legislation. Based on the analysis of interviews provided by potential actors, transiiont planning is considered extremely important in this significant life stage. The actors define their role in the transit team, they identify other team members and they seek organizing coordinator. Although the transition program is not grounded in the Czech legislation, the results of the research show up that transition planning is in smaller scale implemented in the Czech educational system. The transition programs lack only an organizing coordinator whose existence in current conditions is random and rare and whose role is mostly ensured by school or intellectually disabled pupil's family. The contribution of the thesis is in pointing out the importance of the period of transition from primary to secondary education because this topic is neglected compared to the period of transition from school to work and independent life in general. Another contribution is the familiarization with the situation in the Czech educational system.
Post-Socialist Corruption as a Legacy of the Past? The Experience of Central European Countries
Matis, Maroš ; Svoboda, Karel (advisor) ; Jędruchów, Tomasz Dawid (referee)
This Bachelor's thesis deals with the phenomenon of post-socialist corruption. Corruption is a frequent topic of discussions within society, yet almost always the focus is on the current situation and contemporary scandals. This work tries to apply a more in-depth approach. It examines to what extent corruption in Central Europe is a legacy of the socialist regimes and of the subsequent period of transition. Corruption is not a modern phenomenon, it has been present in Central Europe for centuries. However, it seems that the beginning of socialism represents a turning point, which changed whole structure of the society. This work examines structural characteristics of the former regimes such as: their hierarchical nature, shortage economies and its effects on the emergence of corrupt practices, and the mechanism beyond it. Social norms and clientelist networks created in the former regimes survived even after year 1989. Moreover, the period of transition brought new options for corruption such as: privatisation, legislative and institutional vacuum, and economic recession. An analysis of certain aspects relevant for corruption in the period of socialism and transition could help us better understand contemporary corruption in the countries of Central Europe.
